Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice helps babies, children and young people who are seriously unwell make the most of every day.
For the majority of Noah’s Ark’s history, the role of brand in achieving this mission was minimal. The brand lacked a strong identity or strategy. Meanwhile, the misperception that palliative care is only about end-of-life support, as well as the national nursing shortage, presented major challenges for the charity and those we support.
An innovative approach was needed – one that better aligned with Noah’s Ark’s values and ambitions to drive change within children’s palliative care.
In partnership with numerous leading creative and media agencies, including hundreds of thousands of pounds-worth of pro bono support and gratis advertisement space, Noah’s Ark has made significant progress in achieving these goals. Driven by audience insight and strategic vision, over the space of six months, Noah’s Ark launched both a new brand and a multi-channel nurse recruitment campaign.
Both projects delivered against their objectives – changing perceptions of children’s palliative care and doubling the size of our nursing team. These projects will be transformational in our mission to improve the quality of life and experience of death for as many children and families as possible.
