L’Oreal Paris proved their commitment to women’s worth by partnering with the Suzy Lamplugh Trust to help women feel safe at music festivals.

Harassment in public spaces was identified as the number one issue faced by women across the world, according to an international study by L’Oréal Paris. A barrier in women’s daily lives, robbing their sense of security. L’Oreal Paris partnered with Suzy Lamplugh Trust to create ‘Stand Up Against Street Harassment’ bystander training, aiming to end street harassment by fostering confidence in taking action. We offered this training to festival staff and attendees at All Points East to offer greater support at the event. Offering safe spaces and phone charging (90% of women feel panic when their phone runs out of battery) so attendees had the confidence to have fun. Embedding L’Oréal Paris’s message into the festival space using the emerging talent stage and artists to amplify our message before, during and after the event. Our campaign reached 29m people through All Points East and exceeded our yearly target by 13% in September, leaving the public with functional skills for a safer future.
