Individual with at least 3 years in a CMO role. Open also to all marketing leaders, including marketing directors, chief marketing officers and chief customer officers.
Breakthrough CMO of the Year
Individual with under 3 years experience as a CMO. Open also to all marketing leaders, including marketing directors, chief marketing officers and chief customer officers
SECTOR SPECIFIC CATEGORIES
Entries into these categories can be a single campaign or multiple campaigns. If a single campaign it must have run across a minimum of 3 channels. All entries must name the marketing leader at the client and the key personnel at the supporting agencies and/or at the media owner.
Automotive
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered for an automotive brand or service.
Banking & Finance
This award will be given for the most effective work delivered for a brand/company operating specifically in the financial services (banking, insurance, mortgages, life assurance etc.) sector.
B2B
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered for a B2B brand or service.
Charity
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered for a charity, not-for-profit organisation, NGO or public sector organisation.
Energy & Utilities
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered for an energy or utility company.
Entertainment & Leisure
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered for an entertainment & leisure brand. Including but not limited to media brands, sports and gaming, museums and galleries, live events, health clubs, gambling and other recreation brands.
FMCG
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered for an FMCG brand. Including goods such as, toiletries, toys, cleaning products.
Food & Beverage
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered for a food & beverage brand. Including goods such as soft drinks, processed foods and alcohol.
Pharma & Healthcare
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered for a pharma and healthcare brand. Including OTC medicines and other consumer healthcare products and targeted at consumers.
Retail
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered for a retailer. Including but not limited to eCommerce, department stores and supermarkets, restaurants and fast food and estate agents.
Services
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered for a service provided. Including but not limited to financial & legal, online platforms, ticketing sites, social media and IT.
Social
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered social idea. Includes online viral film, digital advertising, streaming video, photo sharing and gifs.
Telecoms
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered for a brand involved in telecommunications and internet services.
Travel & Tourism
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered for a brand involved in travel and tourism. Including but not limited to airlines, cruise companies & travel businesses.
CHANNEL CATEGORIES
These are for brands that have used a single channel better than any other brand during the eligibility period. These categories cannot be entered but the judges will be asked to pick a shortlist/winner from the work entered into the sector categories.
Experiential
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered for an experience idea. Includes live events, pop-ups, brand activations, festivals and immersive experiences.
Out of Home
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered in out of home advertising. Includes 6-sheets, 48-sheets, 96-sheets, giant posters, digital and interactive posters, cross tracks, bus sides, taxis, ambient posters and special builds.
Performance
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered through performance marketing. Includes search, affiliate, social and digital.
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered in print advertising. Includes advertising in local and national press, business and consumer magazines, inserts, wraps and covers.
Radio & Audio
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered in radio advertising. Includes any form of radio broadcast, internet advertising, streaming audio content, downloadable content and podcasts.
Social
TV & Cinema
This award will be given to the most effective work delivered in film advertising. Includes TV ads, cinema, idents, branded documentaries and brand films.
